The primary difference between the “1 on 1 movement” sessions and taking a group class lies in the personalized attention and customization of the practice. The “1 on 1 movement” sessions offer highly personalized coaching that focuses on the specific needs, goals, and limitations of the client. This personalized approach allows for immediate feedback and adjustments, ensuring that each movement and pose is performed with optimal form and efficiency, thereby maximizing benefits and minimizing the risk of injury.

Sussanne Vendel Hoiberg is Shiva Cor’s Studio Artist!

The intuitive and expressive painting style,
I have developed comes on the heels of following my ancestral Danish Viking roots. Leading me on a journey to discover the magical and mysterious Rune Symbols. 
They have found their way into many of my pieces. With a deeper understanding of their powerful messages and through the use of bright colours, dramatic and bold shapes, I am able to translate the intuitive meaning of the Rune Symbol into the artwork.
Visual language has largely been my primary form of communication since childhood as I struggled with verbal linguistics and had challenges with my sight. Expressive use of colour and art have given me a way to openly share my understanding of the world around me as I found my voice through painting.
As I have reconnected more with my Danish past, I began seeing messages in nature in the form of Rune symbols. Inviting each Rune into my paintings has given them a special message hidden within the textures and symbolism of my paintings. This series is Titled “The Elder Futhark Viking Runes” by Sussanne is near completion. When this series is complete and shown in the order as they appeared in nature, a deeper message will be revealed.

…a songwriter and intuitive singer, whose intimate and authentic performances reveal a passion for creating a love-centered life, concern for the conscious evolution of humanity and preserving our beautiful earth. Her recordings are diverse, ranging from the ethereal and meditative sounds of crystal bowls with harp and drums, to the eco-folk, inspirational songs she performs with her guitar.

A recording artist with 4 CD’s under her belt, Theda has performed at local music festivals in BC and the Ottawa Folk Festival.  Born in the BC Rockies and raised by the ocean, she has an authentic, enchanting sound.

Her angelic and powerfully melodic, dynamic voice, coupled with provocative lyrics conveys a deep love for life on this planet, the natural elements and human connection. A free spirit, with a voice comparable to Sarah McLachlan, Theda loves to compose spontaneously as well as write songs in a style reminiscent of Joni Mitchell.  Discover the soulful depths of a Divine Muse.

She creates music for healing and transformation, touching people deeply with her angelic, transporting voice and shamanic vocal sounds, accompanying herself with a variety of instruments that include Crystal and Tibetan Singing Bowls, Native Drums, Shakers, Harp and Guitar.

Hailing from the rugged coast of British Columbia, Canada, Matthew Kocel is a throat singer, multi-instrumentalist and recording artist with over 3 decades experience as a performer and multi-disciplinary healing arts practitioner.

Recognized as a leader in the global sound healing movement, Matthew Kocel’s music is currently being featured in Dr. Joe Dispenza’s retreats and guided meditations.

With a rare combination of throat singing, overtone chant and natural voice, he draws on diverse influences from Led Zepplin to Tibetan Monks, Pink Floyd to Mongolian throat singers.

Matthew’s music defies labels yet feels deeply familiar on a cellular level.

The harmonic overtones of his voice – sounding 2, 3 or more notes at the same time – resonate from the core of the Earth, dissolving the boundaries of space/time, giving direct experience of the oneness of all things.

YOGA GUIDELINES

Any person with a known medical condition should always consult their physician before engaging in yoga practice.

Women who are within the first 3 days or experiencing a heavy menstruating cycle or are pregnant should avoid breath of fire and other exercises that powerfully engage the naval centre. Inverted poses where the legs are lifted higher than the naval point should also be avoided. Long deep breathing can be done in the place of breath of fire, in-fact is highly recommended to help with a deeper emotional connection. Resting in child’s pose or savasana is also encouraged.

**Always follow your body’s messages to ensure there’s no pain in the postures and that stretching and releasing tension is uncomfortable.

MEDICALLY APPROPRIATE CARE DISCLAIMER

If a minor and their guardian decline assessment or treatment which is deemed necessary by at least 2 medical doctors the case should be referred to the BC Ministry of Children and Family Services.

If an adult who has capacity declines care after the benefits and risks have been appropriately explained and the benefits far outweigh the risks, you must respect the decision.

If an adult is incapacitated and unable to provide informed consent but demands treatment, you must decline until the individual has the capacity to make informed decisions.
